Wool has been part of Finnish life for thousands of years. It has warmed up in beanies and mittens, sweated and itched as woolen panties, glittered in many colors in fashion knits.

“100 Years of Knitwear” fashion show presented Finnish fashion throughout the 100 years of Finland´s independency. In the workshops you could learn to patch broken woolen garments in a traditional way, tune your beanie or cap and try to spun woolen yarn. The casual design exhibition showed potholders from traditional styles to contemporary mini textiles.
